K33 Secures MICA License Amid Cryptocurrency Market Volatility

Share

K33's second quarter results showed a sharp decline in revenue due to weak cryptocurrency trading activity. The Norwegian digital asset platform secured an unconditional MICA license, allowing it to offer regulated services across the European Union under a single authorization.

The company experienced a 74% sequential decline in Q2 revenue, with global spot trading volumes falling by 28%. K33's stock traded at $0.0255, down 8.93% from the previous close of $0.028.

Despite near-term headwinds, management emphasized that first-half growth remained positive, with H1 2026 revenue increasing 10% year-over-year to 932.8 million Swedish kronor.

K33's focus on larger private clients, corporates, and institutional partners has helped the company maintain a trading volume above 2 billion Swedish kronor for 12 months.
