Kaiko Dominates Crypto VC Funding with $110M Round
Crypto market data provider Kaiko led the week's funding with a $110 million round backed by several major financial institutions, including S&P Global. This transaction accounted for nearly two-thirds of the total disclosed financing of $180.25 million across nine deals from September 12 to 18.
The largest funding outside of Kaiko went to Fin.com, which raised $20 million in a seed round to expand its stablecoin-based cross-border payment infrastructure. The company connects businesses with regulated payment systems in over 30 countries and supports more than 40 currencies.
Other notable deals included dtcpay adding $15 million to its Series A funding for a total of $25 million, and Tare raising $13.25 million in seed financing for its blockchain-based credit infrastructure.
