$KAS Token Price Surges Amid Falling Network Activity
Kaspa's $KAS token price surged by 12% in 24 hours through Sept. 27, but the network behind it saw a significant decline in user activity. Daily active users on Kaspa fell from 36,570 on Sept. 17 to about 7,910 in the latest reading, a drop of roughly 78% in ten days.
Standard transactions also declined from approximately 208,480 to 113,530 over the same window, marking a 46% decrease. The discrepancy between price momentum and network participation raises questions about what's driving the token's rise.
The core tension here is simple: $KAS price strength has not been matched by broader participation across the Kaspa network. Usually, a rising token and rising network activity move together, at least loosely. In this case, they've split apart, and the available data doesn't explain why.
