Kiyosaki Sees Bitcoin as Essential 'Financial Prepper' Asset
Financial expert Robert Kiyosaki has reiterated his support for Bitcoin, calling it a vital component of a 'financial prepper's' strategy to safeguard against economic disruption.
In a recent statement on X, Kiyosaki drew a parallel between owning assets outside government-issued currency and carrying car insurance, arguing that it's a necessary precaution against unexpected events.
He cited the example of a woman who questioned whether anticipating trouble reflected pessimism, to which he replied, 'Do you own any gold, silver, bitcoin?' His response highlights his preference for scarce assets that governments cannot print, such as Bitcoin's fixed supply of 21 million coins.
Kiyosaki also emphasized the importance of income-generating assets in his financial preparation strategy, mentioning his oil-well holdings that provide a revenue stream through sales to governments and other buyers.
He noted that owning oil wells has a dual benefit, as rising energy prices can increase household expenses, but also provide a business interest through which he receives income.
