Kraken Pursues US Launch of Single-Stock Perpetual Futures
Kraken is expanding its derivatives offering beyond crypto to US traders through a proposed filing for single-stock perpetual futures trading.
The filing, made by Payward, the parent company of Kraken, covers 10 US stocks, including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. This would mark an extension of trading hours beyond regular stock-market hours, with the goal of allowing traders to respond to market-moving news outside those times.
Payward plans to offer onchain perpetual futures through Hyperliquid to eligible US clients, subject to regulatory approval from Bitnomial Exchange. The launch date has not been provided.
