Latvia Grants Noah LV SIA Licenses for Four Crypto Services

Noah LV SIA has received a payment institution license from Latvijas Banka, allowing it to offer four crypto services and conduct payment transactions. This grant brings the total number of companies licensed under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) to 12.

The licenses were issued on September 30th, and both took effect immediately. The crypto license permits custody and administration of clients' crypto-assets, exchanges of crypto-assets for funds, execution of client orders, and transfers of crypto-assets on behalf of clients. The payment institution license allows for payment transactions, including credit transfers and standing orders.

Noah LV SIA is now authorized to offer these services in the European Union after completing a cross-border notification process. MiCA sets rules for crypto-assets and service providers across the EU.
