This stability is attributed to growing derivatives activity and the announcement of the OpenAssets collaboration, which brings tokenized assets into the Sui ecosystem.

According to CoinGlass data, Sui's open interest grew dramatically over the second half of September, rising from $600 million in mid-September to more than $1 billion late in the month.

The increase in open interest signals broader participation in SUI derivatives and makes upcoming price swings more vulnerable to liquidations.
