Lee Sees Bullish 12 Months for Crypto Amidst Institutional Shift

Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine, believes that the crypto market is on the cusp of a powerful 12-month period due to increasing institutional interest and a cleaner cycle setup.

In an interview with Wealthion, Lee argued that Wall Street's relationship with blockchain has undergone a significant shift in recent years. He pointed out that public comments from Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and Blackrock CEO Larry Fink about moving financial assets onto blockchain infrastructure demonstrate the growing acceptance of crypto by traditional finance.

Lee also noted that Bitmine's own balance sheet supports his thesis, with the company acquiring 27,180 ETH over the past week to bring its total holdings to 5.96 million ETH, representing roughly 4.9% of ethereum's supply.
