Lido Finance has initiated its validator consolidation process, marking the first step in transferring approximately 8.4 million staked ETH from the legacy Curated Module to CMv2.

This move is part of Lido's effort to improve staking efficiency and security for users who stake ETH through the platform.

The migration will allow Lido to streamline operations, support stronger performance, and enhance user experience.

Lido DAO provides the governance structure behind the protocol, with its LDO token giving holders voting rights on protocol parameters. The Easy Track mechanism is used for routine governance, directing service fees toward research, development, liquidity incentives, and upgrades.
