Liquid Network Resumes After $320M Hack
The Liquid Network has resumed operations after a $320 million hack in early September.
Although some functions are still suspended, including peg-outs that convert LBTC back into Bitcoin [BTC], block production and regular transactions have been running normally since the 10th of this month.
Users now have the chance to move LBTC across the network, but caution remains as not all of the Bitcoin involved in the incident has been recovered.
The technical root cause of the exploit has been identified, and an immediate fix has been released through Elements v23.3.4, the software underlying Liquid.
