Luke Dashjr Leaves OCEAN, Pursues Decentralized Mining Venture
OCEAN and Luke Dashjr have announced their separation in a joint statement. The reason behind this decision is due to their differing visions for the future of Bitcoin mining following recent protocol developments.
Luke Dashjr, a co-founder of OCEAN's pool, has resigned as Chairman, Chief Technology Officer, and director of the company. He will be pursuing a new venture called CONVOY (@CONVOY_Mining), aiming to continue decentralizing Bitcoin mining.
OCEAN will continue serving miners with its transparent, non-custodial mining pool, unaffected by this change. The company has repurchased all of Luke Dashjr's equity as part of their mutual agreement.
