Malicious Uniswap Hooks Siphon Millions from Traders

Uniswap's innovative Hooks mechanism has become a new on-chain attack surface, with malicious pools siphoning funds from user trades through 'luring with low prices and settling at high prices'.

0x analyzed over 84,000 Hooks across six chains and found that only 19.4% are deemed safe, while more than half have been flagged as malicious.

The tactics vary widely, but the underlying behavior is consistent: the advertised price routed to the outside does not equal the price the user actually receives.
