MANTRA Blockchain Freezes Due to Unexplained Incident

MANTRA's blockchain unexpectedly halted operations due to an undisclosed incident on Thursday. The network has been temporarily shut down, and all public endpoints and on-chain transactions have been frozen.

The move was taken as a precautionary measure by the team of engineers and security specialists who are currently investigating the cause of the issue with their partners.

As a result, major South Korean and international cryptocurrency exchanges, including Upbit and Bithumb, have suspended OM deposits and withdrawals. However, spot trading remains active on these platforms.

The incident has raised concerns about the infrastructure's durability, particularly for the RWA market, which saw OM plummet by over 98% in one session last April, causing a significant dip in confidence among investors.
