MARA Holdings (MARA) stock experienced a 5% surge on Monday as Bitcoin surpassed $85,000 for the first time since January. This rally follows a strong rebound in MARA's stock last week, which was tied to its AI and data-center strategy.

The firm H.C. Wainwright recently initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a $20 price target, citing MARA's partnership with Starwood and planned Long Ridge Energy acquisition as key assets in its AI infrastructure push.

However, analysts remain divided on the strength of MARA's data-center transition, with Morgan Stanley keeping a bearish rating despite raising its target to $11 from $6. J.P. Morgan also has an $11 target but previously criticized the execution of MARA's transition toward data centers.
