Share

Microsoft's X Account was hijacked to promote a new cryptocurrency called Clippy Meme Coin. The scam took place on Twitter, where the hackers posted a message pretending to be Microsoft's official account.

The tweet claimed that Microsoft was launching a new cryptocurrency and provided a link to a website where users could allegedly sign up for more information.

However, the link led to a phishing site designed to steal users' login credentials and other sensitive information.
