MicroStrategy Surges on New 'USD Cash' Facility, Options Market Prices in Further Upside
MicroStrategy's stock has surged over 30% in the past week, closing at a gain of 2.83% from its previous day's price on August 24th.
The company has established a new 'USD Cash' facility with approximately $1.6 billion for future financial operations, including additional Bitcoin acquisitions and share buybacks.
This is in addition to the existing 'USD Reserve' of around $5.1 billion designated for preferred stock dividends and debt interest payments under the Digital Credit Capital Framework disclosed in late June.
The combined dollar-denominated liquidity reaches approximately $6.69 billion, with Mr. Saylor securing a new cash buffer available at his discretion to mitigate risk during sharp market downturns.
