MicroStrategy's Bitcoin Holdings Flip to Profit with $1.7B Unrealized Gain
MicroStrategy's Bitcoin holdings have turned profitable, according to recent data. The company and its CEO Michael Saylor purchased approximately 840,447 BTC at an average price of $75,385. This investment is now valued at nearly $65.1 billion, resulting in a significant unrealized gain of $1.78 billion.
The current price of BTC is around $77,778, and the asset's price action on the 4-hour chart shows it testing upper Bollinger resistance at $78,889.58. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has reached an overbought level of 94.6, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) maintains its golden cross at 3084.54.
Despite this overbought condition, the broader bullish structure above the 200-Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $64,883.41 remains intact. A measured retracement toward the 50-EMA, currently sitting at $67,134.78, appears likely before the next leg higher.
