MoneyGram Ignites Solana Adoption, AlphaPepe Seeks 37x Gain
The Solana price has seen little movement despite significant adoption milestones, including MoneyGram's launch of crypto-to-cash access on the Solana ecosystem in over 170 countries.
MoneyGram's Ramps service allows wallets and apps to connect users to a global cash network, with crypto-to-cash withdrawals available in more than 170 countries and deposits in over 25. This move taps into MoneyGram's roughly 60 million customers and nearly 500,000 retail locations.
While this is genuine adoption for the chain, it's primarily ecosystem infrastructure, providing fiat ramps for apps built on Solana, not a direct switch that pumps the SOL token. As a result, SOL has barely moved, holding around $76, still far below its highs.
AlphaPepe, however, offers a different kind of headline with its bigger $1 trade target. At just $0.02707 in Stage 20, a run to $1 would be roughly a 37x on a fixed one-billion supply, a clean and calculable move that Solana cannot make no matter how much adoption it wins.
