MoonPay's AI-Powered Payment Vault Integrates with ChatGPT and Claude

MoonPay has introduced PayBox, an AI-powered payment vault that allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through popular chatbots ChatGPT and Claude.

With PayBox, users can authorize transactions directly within a conversation, without having to leave the chat interface. This eliminates the need for users to navigate multiple platforms or services, making it easier to manage their digital assets.

The payment vault uses multi-party computation (MPC) and trusted execution environments (TEEs) to protect wallet keys, ensuring that funds are secure throughout the transaction process. MoonPay's chief engineer, Neeraj Prasad, explained that wallet keys are split across hardware-isolated secure environments, preventing any single device or session from moving funds independently.

PayBox supports Solana and Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains, including Ethereum, Base, Hyperliquid, Arbitrum, and Polygon. Users can fund their accounts through existing wallets or payment cards after completing MoonPay's identity verification process.
