Morgan Stanley Lists Ethereum and Solana ETPs Amid Growing Cryptocurrency Interest

Morgan Stanley has taken another step into the cryptocurrency market by listing exchange-traded products (ETPs) for Ethereum and Solana. The two funds, Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL), track the CoinDesk Ethereum Benchmark and the CoinDesk Solana Benchmark respectively.

The ETPs carry a 0.14% annual management fee and pass on staking rewards to investors. This follows Morgan Stanley's move earlier this month to offer spot cryptocurrency trading services on its E*Trade platform, which includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.

The bank also announced that assets under management in the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) ETF have surpassed $380 million since its launch in April. This growth is likely due in part to the start of spot cryptocurrency trading services on E*Trade.
