Morgan Stanley's entry into the crypto exchange-traded fund (ETF) market is off to a strong start, with its Ethereum and Solana ETFs outperforming larger rivals on their second trading day. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust, MSSE, drew $14.03 million in inflows, surpassing BlackRock's ETHA, the dominant US spot Ethereum ETF, despite net outflows of approximately $19 million in the broader category.

MSOL, the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust, recorded $19.03 million in inflows on Wednesday, capturing all the money entering US Solana ETFs during the session. This is a significant achievement, given that SoSoValue lists eight other Solana funds with combined net assets of approximately $842 million.

Morgan Stanley's distribution network and low 0.14% fees could give its funds an edge in the market. The bank has roughly 16,000 financial advisers and one of the largest wealth-management platforms in the world, as well as access to self-directed investors through E*TRADE.
