Morph Payments has expanded its stablecoin payment platform to support Solana and TRON, allowing businesses to receive USDC and USDT on Solana, and USDT on TRON. This update removes the need for customers to connect a wallet to the platform before paying, as they can now pay directly from compatible cryptocurrency exchanges.

The expansion adds three new stablecoin and network combinations to Morph Payments, including USDC on Solana, USDT on Solana, and USDT on TRON. According to Renna Ba, Head of Ecosystem at Morph, the update aims to meet businesses and customers where they already are, by allowing them to pay using a standard transfer from their exchange account.

The platform's infrastructure has been structured to maintain separate catalogs for receiving and paying currencies, allowing merchants to configure their payment setup separately from the assets they use to receive funds. This means that merchants do not necessarily have to mirror every stablecoin and network used by customers.
