Morpho Midnight's Security Audits Show No Critical Vulnerabilities Found

Share

Morpho Midnight has made its security audit reports publicly available on GitHub. The protocol's team conducted five different reviews from April to early September 2026, which found no critical vulnerabilities.

The audit reports were done by Spearbit, Blackthorn, Trust Security, and StErMi, as well as a Cantina competition where multiple security researchers competed to find flaws.

No critical issues were flagged across all five reviews, with findings categorized as low to medium severity. Morpho Midnight's architecture is entirely new, built from scratch over two years, with a whitepaper open-sourced on May 28, 2026.

The protocol offers fixed-rate and fixed-maturity lending, which is different from the variable rates used in most DeFi lending today. This means borrowers know exactly what they'll pay, and lenders know exactly what they'll earn for a defined period.
