Moscow Exchange Launches Five Crypto Perpetual Futures Contracts
Moscow Exchange is set to launch five new crypto perpetual futures contracts on September 22, 2026. The contracts will be tied to Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Tron (TRX) and will be quoted in US dollars, settled daily in Russian rubles.
The exchange has already seen significant demand for its crypto-linked futures, with over 72,000 qualified investors trading the products since their introduction, generating over 600 billion rubles in cumulative volume.
Perpetual futures allow investors to gain exposure to price movements without taking delivery of the underlying tokens. The contracts will be limited to qualified investors and are part of Moscow Exchange's efforts to expand its regulated exchange infrastructure through derivatives rather than spot trading.
