Mystery XRP Wallet Surfaces as Top 10 Holder

An unidentified wallet has emerged as one of the top ten XRP holders, according to the September 24 rich-list snapshot published by XRP Tools using XRPSCAN data. The wallet holds approximately 1.801 billion $XRP, which represents about 1.8% of XRP's 100 billion maximum supply.

The wallet, with address rJ9Ey7HbscSECamgDRzvw5wrVbFUgaUDt7, ranks eighth in the snapshot and sits between Bithumb and Binance addresses. The absence of an ownership label does not confirm whether the wallet belongs to an individual or is a corporate or custodial account.

The records show that the wallet was activated on December 1, 2024, with a payment of 10 $XRP from another address. A subsequent payment of 35.2 million $XRP was sent to the wallet on April 20, 2026, increasing its balance to approximately 1.0295 billion $XRP.
