Nasdaq-Listed OpenWorld Enters Real-World Asset Tokenization Space
A new publicly traded company has entered the real-world asset tokenization space. OpenWorld completed its business combination with VerifyMe and began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker OPNW at the October 1 market open.
The combined company is being led by digital-assets executive Matthew Shaw and aims to focus on institutional-grade tokenization of real-world assets.
This move makes OpenWorld's transaction more relevant to crypto markets, as it positions itself in a rapidly expanding part of the market where traditional securities, private assets, and blockchain settlement are beginning to overlap.
