NEAR Breaks Ultra-Bullish Trend, Consolidation Underway
Near Protocol's (NEAR) rapid price increase in September has finally slowed down, breaking a trend of ultra-bullish momentum. According to Bitget, NEAR has been trading around $4.79 after briefly reaching the $5.40-$5.60 region. This pause in momentum does not necessarily signal the end of NEAR's broader recovery, but it does indicate a transition from aggressive expansion toward consolidation.
The token's price has roughly tripled since the beginning of September, when it traded near $1.80, before accelerating above $5. The daily RSI has retreated toward the low-60 area, confirming the loss of overbought momentum.
Trading activity has stabilized, and buyers have not yet demonstrated enough conviction for another immediate vertical leg. The important support zone now sits around $4.60-$4.70, and holding it would allow NEAR to establish a higher base before attempting another move toward $5.00 and ultimately the $5.40-$5.60 resistance area.
A clean breakout above the recent peak would restore the ultra-bullish structure, but losing $4.60 would substantially increase the probability of a deeper correction. The rapidly rising short-term moving average is approaching the $4.00-$4.10 region, making it the next major dynamic support.
