NEAR Price Consolidation Tests Key Support Level
NEAR Protocol's recent rally has slowed down as the token trades around $4.79, according to Marcus Renfield's analysis on hoka.news. The token is currently consolidating in a narrower range of roughly $4.60 to $5.00 after climbing from approximately $1.80 to between $5.40 and $5.60 in September.
The move higher was followed by repeated selling near the $5.40-$5.60 area, indicating that sellers resisted attempts to extend the advance. The token has since settled below its recent peak while retaining much of the gains accumulated during September.
The consolidation has been accompanied by a decline in daily relative strength index readings, with NEAR's RSI moving toward the low 60s after previously rising above the 70 level. Trading activity has also cooled, with volume being heavier as NEAR advanced from approximately $2.50 to $4.50.
The $4.60 support zone is now crucial for NEAR, and holding it would preserve the current higher price base and allow buyers to make another attempt at the $5.00 level. A move above $5.00 would bring the $5.40-$5.60 resistance zone back into focus.
