NEAR Intents Halts Services After Security Incident Causes Estimated $3.85 Million Loss
NEAR Intents, a protocol for exchanging assets between different blockchain networks, suspended services temporarily after detecting a security incident. According to an official X-account announcement on October 1, preliminary losses are estimated at approximately $3.85 million (around ¥6 billion).
The bug was found in the interaction part with Omni's deposit and withdrawal infrastructure.
NEAR Intents has promised to compensate users for all losses incurred due to the incident.
