Nillion's Covenants have gone live on Ethereum mainnet, marking an important milestone for the protocol. The launch enables encrypted, condition-gated agreements that are created and resolved without a single trusted party.

The first covenants are now available, with resolution handled through Nillion's infrastructure rather than a designated intermediary. This trust-minimized approach provides a secure way to execute conditional transactions.

Nodes participating in covenant resolution can earn staking rewards, while token holders have access to a live product for staking and a concrete mechanism to price NIL. However, the reliability of distributed node performance remains a practical constraint as usage grows.
