A financial exploit is suspected to have occurred at Notional Finance, potentially resulting in $1.7 million in losses.

The incident allegedly involved an escrow contract, with researchers from Specter identifying a loss of approximately $69,242 in DAI and $1.66 million in USDC.

The suspected attacker exchanged the stablecoins for 689.2 ETH before depositing funds into Tornado Cash, making it difficult to track the assets.

Notional Finance had not publicly confirmed the incident or provided a statement when checked, leaving the technical cause of the exploit and affected users unclear.
