NYSE Partners with Blockchain.com to Launch Tokenized Asset Market
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is moving closer to its goal of creating a $5.5 trillion tokenized asset market, as it partners with Blockchain.com to provide access to US-listed shares and exchange-traded funds on its planned digital trading venue.
Blockchain.com, which has over 44 million confirmed accounts, will act as a gateway to the NYSE's round-the-clock market for tokenized US stocks. This partnership is part of the NYSE's strategy to reach crypto-native customers before its tokenized securities market opens.
The agreement also establishes a two-way market-data relationship between the companies, with ICE Data Services distributing Blockchain.com pricing and analytics to institutional data subscribers. In turn, Blockchain.com will integrate ICE and NYSE feeds into its app, providing real-time stock information to its users.
