October's Economic Calendar Packed with Catalysts for Bitcoin Volatility
The next 28 days are packed with major macro catalysts that could reshape interest-rate expectations and inject fresh volatility into Bitcoin (BTC) and the broader crypto market.
The Federal Reserve is still digesting more information, including the Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers, ahead of its next FOMC meeting at the end of the month.
The first major date to watch is October 7, when the central bank will release the minutes from the previous FOMC meeting held on September 15-16. The document should provide additional insight into policymakers' thinking and how they view the path forward.
The September CPI is next, coming out on October 14. It remains one of the most watched macro releases for risk assets. An upside surprise has historically strengthened the case for tighter monetary policy, while a softer reading could produce the opposite reaction.
