Offshore Casino Firms Exposed in Massive Data Leak
A massive leak of data from online casinos has exposed the inner workings of several offshore gambling firms. The 'Casino Secrets' leak, obtained by Berlin-based hacker Lilith Wittmann, includes tens of thousands of previously confidential files stored by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA).
The leaked documents reveal information about the owners of some of the world's largest online casinos, including Santeda International and Stake.com. Santeda has been accused of targeting vulnerable UK gamblers who were trying to quit, despite having no licence from the Gambling Commission.
The leak also reveals data about Oddsbet, a betting company owned until 2025 by Robert Bostock, a British citizen from East Yorkshire. Documents submitted to the CGA claimed that the source of his funds derived from 'long-term crypto currency investments' and a £100,000 loan from another person based in the UK.
BC.Game has also been implicated in the leak, with the company having previously been accused of accepting business from UK customers despite surrendering its licence to do so. Stake.com's Curaçao-registered company, Medium Rare NV, gave its owner as Serbian national Mladen Vučković, who declared assets of more than $1bn to the regulator in 2024.
