OG.com Gets SEC Approval for Single-Stock Futures in US
Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, announced that OG.com has received authorization from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to offer single-stock futures in the US.
The SEC acknowledged OG.com's 1-N filing, which clears a significant regulatory hurdle for the platform.
Marszalek stated that they are working with the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to offer single-stock perpetuals that combine 'the innovations of the digital asset markets with the US capital markets.'
This development follows similar moves by other crypto platforms, such as Kraken's partnership with the London Stock Exchange to launch tokenized UK stocks and Coinbase's introduction of stock perpetual futures for non-US traders.
