Ondo Taps BlackRock Expertise for Onchain Investment Portfolios

Ondo Finance has introduced Intelligent Portfolios, a new suite of investment portfolios designed by BlackRock that are available as single onchain tokens. These portfolios operate in three layers: first, BlackRock provides the allocation strategy; second, Ondo implements that strategy programmatically through smart contracts; and third, the result is a single token that users can mint or redeem without needing to monitor or adjust positions.

The initial three portfolios are BLKHIon (global high income), BLKDIGon (diversified growth), and BLKGRWon (high growth), all operated under exclusive strategies developed by BlackRock. These tokens are composable in the DeFi market, can be used as collateral in loans or perps, and are freely transferable between peers.

Ondo Intelligent Portfolios combine the benefits of onchain transactions with the expertise of a leading asset manager. Unlike traditional ETFs, these portfolios operate 24 hours a day, are transparent onchain, and are not limited by geography or market hours.
