OpenWorld Eyes Agentic Tokenization with Proposed Blocksight Acquisition
OpenWorld, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNW), a company advancing global real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, has announced a proposed acquisition of Blocksight Holdings Co. This acquisition aims to support the continued development of OpenWorld Enterprise, a platform enabling institutions to access, verify, and hold tokenized RWA opportunities.
Blocksight's AI agents are designed to bring RWAs on-chain and provide ongoing investor reporting. The integration of Blocksight's technology with OpenWorld's origination and structuring capabilities could enhance OpenWorld Enterprise's ability to bring assets on-chain more efficiently and consistently, according to OpenWorld.
The proposed acquisition is subject to final approval by the OpenWorld Board of Directors and the execution of definitive transaction documentation. OpenWorld co-founder and CEO Matthew Shaw stated, 'The proposed acquisition of Blocksight represents an important step for OpenWorld as we begin our journey as a publicly traded company.'
The announcement follows the completion of OpenWorld's business combination with VerifyMe, Inc., which led to the trading of OpenWorld's common stock on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol 'OPNW' on October 1, 2026.
