Paradex Sets Record with $16M ETH Options Trade via Paradigm's RFQ Network
Paradex has facilitated a record-breaking $16 million ETH options trade at a lower cost than Deribit. The trade, worth $15.76 million, settled for a total premium of $45,220. This represents just 0.29% of the notional value.
The platform integrated Paradigm's request-for-quote (RFQ) liquidity network on September 15, 2026, which allows traders to request prices from multiple market makers simultaneously. This mechanism is particularly useful for large trades where slippage on traditional order books would eat into returns.
Since the RFQ launch, daily notional trading volumes on Paradex have climbed to between $14.5 million and $17.6 million, with open interest surging 2.6 times to $202 million.
