Pi Network Price Surges on Upgrade News and Crypto Rebound
Pi Network's price has seen a modest increase of 3.08 percentage points over the last 41 hours, driven by a combination of upgrade news and a broader crypto market rebound.
The main catalysts behind this move are Pi-specific upgrades, particularly large-scale KYC and mainnet migration fixes that have cleared around 900,000 user accounts. This has allowed users to resume their Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes and gain access to their balances.
The rollout of Protocol v27 is also nearing completion, with the final stages taking place on Testnet 2. This upgrade aims to improve smart contract authentication and transaction handling, making Pi's network more decentralized and developer-ready.
The broader crypto market has also seen a rebound, with Bitcoin recovering above $85,000 after a previous drop. Pi's price is following this trend, grinding back toward the $0.09 level.
