Pi Network Unblocks Hundreds of Thousands Amid Surge in PI Crypto Price
The Pi Network has resolved two long-standing bottlenecks in its Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Mainnet migration pipeline, affecting over 914,000 users. This comes as the PI cryptocurrency price surges +5% in recent hours.
The first fix addresses duplicate-account reviews, where Pi Network determined that flagged accounts were not duplicates, allowing over 417,000 users to continue with KYC. The second fix targets a technical snag affecting Fast-Track wallet users, who will be unblocked by an update deploying within the next week.
The network has also rolled out several smaller technical changes, including improved system resource management during machine-learning-based video processing and adjustments to liveness-check logic for older or lower-spec devices. Additionally, Pi Network is running a one-month trial of palm-print capture for users required to complete multiple liveness checks.
