Pineapple Financial Deploys $1B in Mortgage Data on Injective Blockchain
Pineapple Financial has successfully migrated over $1.1 billion in mortgage records to the Injective blockchain, marking a significant milestone for the company's digital asset strategy.
The migration, which began in late 2025 with an initial phase of 1,259 credit files, has now reached 2,079 active files, representing a nearly 48% increase in recorded volume since the infrastructure went live.
Each file onboarded to the network contains over 500 organized data points, including debtor profiles, contractual terms, payment histories, and associated risk metrics. This implementation does not create synthetic instruments or replace existing legal agreements, but rather serves as an analytical overlay on traditional operations.
Pineapple Financial's leadership confirmed plans to transition its full funded portfolio of over 29,000 mortgage loans valued at over $10 billion onto Injective across successive phases. The company has also established a separate corporate treasury in the native INJ token, with a balance sheet allocation of $100 million.
The integration of real-world assets (RWAs) on the Injective network has sparked interest among market analysts, who note that Pineapple's architecture sidesteps legal complications by confining on-chain activity to credit data verification rather than issuing unregistered securities. The company plans to launch two tools powered by these records: the Mortgage Data Marketplace and Pineapple Prime.
