Pirate Nation Studio Axes Proof of Play Project, Opens Source Code

Pirate Nation Studio has announced that it is shutting down its Proof of Play (PoP) project, a blockchain-based platform for gaming. The studio will open-source all the code and art from the PoP project.

The decision to shut down PoP was made due to 'circumstances beyond our control', according to Pirate Nation Studio. The studio has not provided further details on what led to this decision.

Pirate Nation Studio is now focusing on other projects, and it will continue to support the open-source community by providing access to all the code and art from PoP.
