Polish Crypto Exchange Bankruptcy Tied to Right-Wing Politics

Thousands of clients of Zondacrypto, a Polish crypto exchange, are unable to recover their funds after it went bankrupt. The situation has escalated into a larger scandal as some of the exchange's former head's statements imply that its funds may have been channeled into political projects associated with Poland's right-wing parties, including PiS and Konfederacja.

The president of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has vetoed a law intended to tighten control over the crypto market three times. The exchange's former head, Przemysław Kral, stated that its funds might have been channeled into these projects.
