Polygon Foundation Boosts Staking Rewards to 7.7% on October 1st
The Polygon Foundation plans to increase staking rewards on the Polygon Chain to 7.7% starting October 1st. The foundation aims to use 27.3 million POL, accumulated priority fees over two months, to fund this increase under Polygon Improvement Proposal 92 (PIP-92). This plan is expected to support stakers during the next two months.
The distribution of rewards will be based on PIP-92 and will use the accumulated priority fees to boost staking rewards. The increase in staking rewards is a significant move for the Polygon Chain, as it aims to incentivize more users to participate in staking activities.
