Polygon Stablecoin Volume Surges 14 Percent in September
Polygon saw a significant increase in stablecoin activity in September, processing a total volume of $97.9 billion. This marks a 14% rise from the previous month, indicating continued growth in stablecoin transactions on the network.
The data, shared by BSCN on X, revealed that Circle's USDC stablecoin dominated the activity, accounting for 69% of the total volume. This highlights USDC's prominent role within Polygon's ecosystem.
Alongside the transaction volume, Polygon's stablecoin supply reached nearly $3 billion. The combination of high transaction volume and substantial stablecoin supply underscores the network's active and expanding stablecoin usage.
The month-over-month increase from August to September was part of a broader trend of growth reported by BSCN, emphasizing Polygon's rising prominence in the stablecoin space.
