Porsche ends 911 NFT project and community platform
Porsche has announced the end of its Web3 project centered around the iconic 911 sports car. The German automaker revealed on October 2, 2026, that it will cease operations for the NFT collection "Porsche 911" and the associated community platform "PIONΞERS CIRCLE."
The NFTs already issued as part of the project will remain with their owners and continue to exist on the Ethereum blockchain. However, the Discord server for the PIONΞERS CIRCLE community will transition to an archive mode, allowing only read-only access to past posts. Additionally, the project's official X (formerly Twitter) account, @eth_porsche, will stop receiving updates.
The Porsche 911 NFT collection launched in 2023, featuring 2,363 unique digital assets that allowed owners to customize their designs in five different ways. The PIONΞERS CIRCLE served as Porsche's first Web3 community, offering members exclusive perks such as real-world track driving experiences and networking events.
In a statement posted on X, Porsche reflected on the project's evolution, noting that it grew beyond a simple technological initiative into a deeper exploration of connecting the brand's spirit with the digital world.
