PowerCompute Repays Arch Facility, Returns $3.3M Worth of BTC
PowerCompute has repaid its Arch Bitcoin-backed facility in full, settling approximately $22.45 million of obligations and reducing its total secured debt by about 94%. The company returned around 39.6 BTC, valued at approximately $3.3 million.
The repayment eliminates interest and collar-related expenses tied to the Arch and prior Galaxy facilities and Liebel loans, according to PowerCompute's CFO. The remaining secured promissory note of approximately $1.25 million matures December 31, 2026.
PowerCompute expects its Mississippi expansion and Oklahoma equipment upgrades to increase active mining computing power by about 21%, reaching approximately 964 PH/s compared to around 771 PH/s at June 30, 2026. The company plans to use Bitcoin as working capital instead of a leveraged treasury strategy.
