Privy Bolsters TRON Integration with Enhanced Stablecoin Tools
Privy has strengthened its integration with TRON by adding new tools for developers to build wallets and stablecoin-powered financial products. The company, owned by Stripe, now offers expanded transaction, transfer, policy, and monitoring capabilities on the TRON network.
The added features allow developers to programmatically construct, sign, and broadcast supported TRON transactions. They also include webhooks for monitoring wallet balances and on-chain events, as well as policy tools that can enforce spending limits, recipient allowlists, and approval rules.
Privy's Transfer APIs enable businesses to move supported assets programmatically. The company points out that this is less about sending USDT from one wallet to another manually and more about building stablecoin functionality directly into financial products.
The integration comes as TRON hosts over $94 billion in circulating USDT, making it a significant settlement network for the stablecoin. Privy's goal is to abstract the work of building developer infrastructure into APIs and wallet infrastructure, reducing the complexity for companies like Onafriq and Paystack that are already using Privy and TRON for treasury or wallet applications.
