$QNT Hits Four-Month High on ECB Proposal Boost
Quant ($QNT) has reached a four-month high of $76 after breaching a multi-month descending resistance trendline. The altcoin's price surge is attributed to growing market optimism following the European Central Bank's (ECB) proposal to remove stablecoin regulation restrictions.
The ECB and 27 EU central banks called for the removal of MiCA regulation, which requires major stablecoin issuers to hold 60% of their reserves in deposits at commercial banks. The new policy targets holding reserves in more liquid installments with a 5-day maturity period.
This shift has led to increased demand for $QNT, reflecting its focus on enterprise-grade crypto exposure and tokenized assets. As a result, investors are repositioning across the market, pulling significant supply off exchanges and opening new positions in derivatives.
