Quant's QNT Surges 185% Weekly Amid Major Banking Partnership
Quant's native token QNT has seen a remarkable surge in price over the past day and week, reaching new heights thanks to a major US banking partnership. The Clearing House selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, providing interoperability and transaction management for financial institutions. This development was announced on September 24, but activity around Quant started increasing eight days prior, with active addresses exceeding 870 per day from September 16 to 23.
The partnership will allow financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposits while connecting with existing payment infrastructure. The Clearing House processes over $2 trillion in payments daily across various networks. While the announcement was made public on September 24, QNT's price had already skyrocketed by 27% that day.
The past day has seen a 75% increase in QNT's price, reaching over $180, with a weekly gain of 185%. Crypto Patel noted that consolidation and retracement become important after such a parabolic move, predicting the price could settle between $50 and $100 before the next big move.
